To be eligible for services from Osage County Special Services, an individual must have a developmental disability that:

• Began before the age of twenty two

• Is likely to continue indefinitely

• Results in the substantial limitations with two or more of the following:

        • Living and working independently
        • Written or verbal communication
        • Self Direction
        • Learning
        • Mobility
        • Self-care

Osage County residents who have developmental disabilities such as Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Down's Syndrome, Epilepsy, Congenital disabilities, and developmental / intellectual disabilities may be eligible for services.  If you feel this definition applies to someone in your family, contact the Rolla Regional Center to discuss eligibility and evaluation.
